1. Risking partner's wrath

Sitting East you win partner's 2♦ with Q♦ - highest card necessary - and when it wins, partner now knows you hold K♦. You may think to return K♦ (top of remaining doubleton) then 7♦ But this will only give 4 tricks, more are needed. You should use this opportunity to switch to J♠ through declarer. This way the defence take the first 9 tricks. Without the spade switch at trick 2, declarer is safe in spades and makes 8 tricks.
